Narnia, Mr Tumnus’ House

“Good evening,” said Lucy to the faun. But he was too busy picking up the parcels he had dropped just before to notice her. “Good evening, good evening,” he said. He then asked if she was a Daughter of Eve. She said her name was Lucy, confused. So then he asked if she was if she was what they called a girl. She then said back that she was a human, if that was what he meant. So then he invited her to his house. “I really need to go,” she said to him. In the end she decided she would go just for a little while. When they arrived, she sat down at the table and had a cuppa’. He asked if he could play at least a tiny bit of music to her. She said yes and he immediately pulled out a two-way flute. He played such beautiful music that she actually fell asleep! In the end she left, and went from the lamp-post into the wardrobe. She came out again and called out. “Guys, I’m back!” Susan looked at her funny, and said she didn’t hide well. Then Peter said Narnia was just her imagination. Edmund just said she was crazy. Then she ran off, crying.
